It’s Sunday, so another edition of “In His Own Words,” quotations of our Supreme Leader…
Last week was the convention. This week, our leader has been busy on two fronts—fomenting violence and recasting the protests as undermining public safety that only he can’t maintain AND keeping sports safe for America!

People are tired of watching the highly political @NBA. Basketball ratings are WAY down, and they won’t be coming back. I hope football and baseball are watching and learning because the same thing will be happening to them. Stand tall for our Country and our Flag!!!
Had a very productive conversation with Kevin Warren, Commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, about immediately starting up Big Ten football. Would be good (great!) for everyone - Players, Fans, Country. On the one yard line!
Is it the sign of a narcissist that he must insinuate himself in all conversations and take all credit for all things? Why, exactly, is the President of the United States getting involved in a health and safety issue like the scheduling of college football games?
But best are his attempts to stoke the flames of controversy in an effort to show himself as the only person who can keep us safe (by the way, how’s he doing so far?:
Portland is a mess, and it has been for many years. If this joke of a mayor doesn’t clean it up, we will go in and do it for them!
The only way you will stop the violence in the high crime Democrat run cities is through strength!
If I didn’t INSIST on having the National Guard activate and go into Kenosha, Wisconsin, there would be no Kenosha right now. Also, there would have been great death and injury. I want to thank Law Enforcement and the National Guard. I will see you on Tuesday!
If the incompetent Mayor of Portland, Ted Wheeler, doesn’t get control of his city and stop the Anarchists, Agitators, Rioters and Looters, causing great danger to innocent people, we will go in and take care of matters the way they should have been taken care of 100 days ago!
Finally, the Washington Post reports that the President retweeted a video from 2019 that purported to tie BLM an antifa to an assault. All untrue and incendiary. And he complains that Joe Biden might be a tad past his shelf life…oy…
